Their a good machines,some folk slag them off but,they would not be so popular if they were not good,i had a chippit 25 served me well for 8 year, sold it on and its still going strong,post some pic's.

im just wondering what kind of security do you guys use to protect them.

 

Its got a datatag but what else do you use.

A datatag is no real deterent it may just help you get it back (but unlikly)

 

Wheel clamp it, chain it, little nugget for the tow bar-or/and tow bar clamp.

 

Also carry a chain and padlock with you for when on site, and you have to leave the chipper out the front whilst your in the back garden so you can chain it to your truck.

I always chained mine to the pickup i've heared of them being nicked at traffic lights,they sneak up behind unhitch and wait for you to drive away!

 

also if you can don't let any one see ware you keep it.

Yeah im getting the TW wheel clamp

 

so i guess a tow hitch lock i need a little nugget thing for my one.

 

 

any one thought of making a ground anchor like a 5 ft deep pole with spikes that only open when you pull up.

 

Is it worth buying two wheel clamps
