How do I secure my wireless network

Just a tip Dean - If your doing any online banking etc, just plug the cable in from your router to your computer, then disable the wireless network.....No one can snoop then. :001_smile:

 

Did you mean "banking"? or was that a typo??

I only do online "banking" :001_tongue:

 

I don't know what I did or how I did it but to log onto the router I had to punch in a WEP key which I generated and wrote down from something I did before that which Rich told me to do :confused1:

 

Anyway, I went outside the house and scanned with my phone, I clicked on the wireless network and it wouldn't let me log on till I punched the same wep code into my phone.

 

I take it that means it's now secure
