How do I secure my wireless network

Just a tip Dean - If your doing any online banking etc, just plug the cable in from your router to your computer, then disable the wireless network.....No one can snoop then.

N.b, I did mean Banking.

I only do online "banking"

 

I don't know what I did or how I did it but to log onto the router I had to punch in a WEP key which I generated and wrote down from something I did before that which Rich told me to do

 

Anyway, I went outside the house and scanned with my phone, I clicked on the wireless network and it wouldn't let me log on till I punched the same wep code into my phone.

 

I take it that means it's now secure

Rod, for some reason there's no program for the router, it's just a windows based generic network wizard thingy.

 

Anyway I got there
