Donkey for Branch Dragging

Does anyone know if this wood be against any animal cruelty rights or has anyone ever thought of idea of investing in one?

I,d of thought as long as you don't expect them to pull as much as a horse ,it would be good exercise for them

Iv'e just sent ours to a sanctuary. You might find they eat more of the bloomin wood than drag it.

 

They would enjoy a bit of work. But I have had a few close shaves with them.

They don't like soft ground due to there hoofs being different from horses.

Might be fun, I had a Dartmoor pony some years back, he loved a bit of work, too small for riding but I used to drive him everywhere with a flat cart, & used him to pull dead wood up from the woods.

Animals eating it aint so bad. Once a flock of sheep chowed down on the piles we were going to burn the next day, ended up getting out their twice as fast as expected.

get the wife or girlfriend on the job and save gettin in bother with animal rights.... failing that try the polish community

Unfortunately the donkey is one of those animals that gets treated bad in a lot of cultures.

Having seen some of the fat kids that get on them at skeggy, pulling a few branches would seem like a holiday !.

 

Joking aside, they are a beast of burden that seems to be abused in a lot of cultures.
