cheers rich, it has not fallen apart so far and i have used it twice..i suppose if it does i could doctor it to be a screw on affair.

tbh i won't need it to hold another file as i have only one saw, it seems to work fine. :thumbup1:

cheers div_h :thumbup1:

H_A it has a bit of orange, and tbh i kinda like it black, it's like a stealth saw :laugh1:

I've got those kits. Only thing is the file guide holder.

Get a stihl one as it has screws to hold the file and can take any size file. Thos Oregon ones don't hold a bigger file and fall apart.

The plates are of different depth for different files . This is to keep the file one fifth of its radius above the top plate of the cutter . A 7/32 file plate will have a deeper depression than say a 5/32 one . Thats why a 7/32 file will not fit a 5/32 file plate .

Yeah but I still hate the holder. It's horrible. And those clips don't hold after a while.

I have a set for each size of chain by the way. Have to as I could get many different size chain come in.
