Great thread! Here is a small bowl I turned for my fiancé to put her jewellery in at night. It's not the grandest of bowls but I wanted to show how incredible Acacia burr is!!!! Such a beautiful timber and so stable to work with too.

the coring device i have is a second hand woodcut bowl saver which is really good i just wish they made a slightly larger one...

 

That's one thing I need to get, there quite expensive tho, I dread to think how many extra bowl I could of made.

£250 at the moment but the thing is ian, they pay for them selves in 5 minutes...

 

i'd get one now before they go up in price...

Tbh I haven't turned a bowl for ages which I miss, but been busy with me signs, kitchen fitting and stalls.

 

I will get back to it tho, very nice work on this thread guys :thumbup:
