For EMERGENCY work yeah I see no problem with that. Client have a rite to say no thank you I'll look else where. If that happens then its on to the next one. We had 35 call outs in three days so 2k a day was easily hit. Plus we won extra work from that so they obviously don't think they are having the piss ripped out of them.

 

2k per person a day sounds to good to me

£750 an hour?? Were going back on the trees full time if these are the rates! And we're putting them up :) in 20byears i haven't heard of them rates.

 

It's 1100 on a Sunday bank holiday etc but as I said it's guaranteed rain or shine there WILL be someone there in 2 hours no matter what the day

It as been interesting reading peoples views, but I am curious to what the actual contract says for this type of work. Is it covered in the contract?
