going great, best you take a test drive in both, mines autobox, but i dont tow that much any more ,its a higher driving postion than a hilux ,not like a car

 

I found there was no leg support in the hilux unless the seat is right back. The auto box was very good but I think we will kill that with our 16ft ifor trailer. I drove the first rodeo with auto box and found it very revvy and fussy but that was years ago I would imagine that has improved alot. A new hilux is about 20k and a 3 year old one with 60k is £16,000 so may as well have a new one.

Whats the difference between a rodeo and a dmax

 

Basically the dmax has superseded the rodeo and the main differences are looks obviously, an extra half a ton towing capacity ad the ability to purchase an extra cab model
