Hi I am about to order some vented bags but unsure of which to choose. I see plenty of different types on the market does anyone have any preference to a particular type / supplier etc. Looked on plenty on Bag Supplies (out of stock), Medallion and MCA Kingstone.I just want to make the right choice as they are pretty expensive. Thanks Jamie

I have vent stripe all round which are ok apart from green logs processed now for next year you will get some mould problems. net on two sides and strip on two sides may be better. get loops on the bottom if you have forklift to tip

I use SG Baker for vented bags. Strip vents and I leave them outside and not had any problems with them.

They have a place in Scotland and one in England, not sure where. Dont have their number to hand, but you will get them on line.

Thanks for speedy reply's the logs in question are part seasoned but planned to get them seasoned for 2014. MCA Kingstone looked decent bags compared to others I viewed. I will take a look at SG Baker not come across them before. Thanks again Jamie

I gave up on the vented bags after fieldmice decided to have a good munch. Absolutely ruined. There was a bit of mould in the centre as well.

If the bags had vented panels along the lines of a string vest, then maybe they might work.

So, back to the wooden crates for me.
