I just read through it, very nice Adam easy to read and gets the essential points across well.

an enjoyable read for many i suppose

perhaps more so to those new to the industry/ in college etc

 

rigging is not an art form it is a science

 

miss configured equipment in the photos, no mention of the industry specific guide to hand signals, or any of the useful things to come out of RR668.

 

all that said nice to see how a 'joe bloggs' in the industry interprets & practices rigging it certainly highlights how little most arbs are taught about rigging. I hope the one of the next articles focuses on the movement of the centroid, something we all should have a good grasp of!

Fair points mate, it was produced as a beginners guide and didn't expect some more experienced guys to enjoy it as much. As for going into detail I've already said I was limited to a certain number of words so wanted to keep things simple. One thing I would of like to go more into is the science of it all but it seems little people don't care about that.

Got the magazines through. lots of interesting reading. Good quality paper as well.

 

Adam I liked the article. It is presented in a clear, easy to understand manner. also not rushing into more technical jargon that can put me off reading sometimes.

 

Look forward to the second installment.
