Stihl MS 201t

So I bought myself a ms 201t a few weeks ago, now to me it seems an ok saw but it didn't rev up no where near as quick as a 200t.

After I retuned it, it revs up just the same as a 200t and cuts just as fast when compared to my old 200t.

Why are they so hated? They seem ok to me tbh the only dislike I have is the sound but that's because of the exhaust.

Also what are the opinions of people that have retuned them?

Edit: I also got rid of the chain that came with it, replaced with a semi chisel

👍👊

I have a T540xp and a 201, I don't see much difference.

But I would still probably reccomend a 540 over the 201 yet would be happy with either.

I two have both the 540 seems more grunty when warm,

Feels nicer and seems to handle well but the 201 t hasn't got at and is reliable

Time will tell
