From what you have said it sounds like the stump is relatively small. Is it not worth just grinding the stump for free, getting paid and seeing the back of the job. I understand it may be a matter of principle now but is it worth it?

 

Covered this question buddy, but all sorted and paid for doing the stump foc and were all sailing again :thumbup:

Its a bit late to be telling people your T&C on the invoice :lol:

 

Indeed. You need to draw attention to them before any contract is entered into, ie on your quotation. Anything issued after is merely a receipt and so you won't be able to rely on it. If I remember correctly, it's covered by Lord Denning in Thornton v Shoe Lane Parking. :001_smile:

Lol should of explained they are quote forms and invoice forms ;P
