Tiny fuel /oil container ?? Climber

Hi to all the guys and girls that climb / cut on ropes , I have been searching for a mini fuel and oil container that could be clipped yo your harness that would fill your small saw or hedge trimmer once with fuel / oil I do a fair bit of IRATA de veg work with long embankments drops and it would be handy to have a spare tiny one shot of each so you don't need to come up the 40m pitch for refuel ,

Does anyone know if there is a purpose made mini duel fuel /oil can with little clip out there ?

I have been digging round the Internet but no luck yet

Has anyone else come across one ? Or something similar that would do it ? Thanks

Look at the tin ethanol fuel bottles used in camping. You can get them in red with fuel written on them. Same as a tin drinks bottle in design so have a ready to clip hole In the top. Get them in a 1ltr size

Bit like the others have said - I'd have a look at the Sigg fuel bottles - pretty sure you can get 0.5L and 1L - I reckon the smaller one for oil and the bigger one for fuel would give a couple of fills with a small saw.

 

I've been meaning to do it for ages for those site where we're already carrying loads of stuff into the wood.

If you go to go outdoors they do a aluminium drink bottle for £3:50 which might do ya

Some have a safety top on them that you have to push down and undo so no accidental opening when your swinging about.

Not seen these used in the tree but forestry guys here use these when away from the landing
