I think they are 35cwt, 1.75ton

 

Think you might be surprised mate, most of them way about 2.2 or more ton empty, so you would do well to get more than 1.3 ton on a tranny, normally a fair bit less.

Are you sure? Bog standard trannie, non tipper,no crane etc.

You can get a lot more than 1.3 ton on a transit!:blushing: not that it would be legal!:001_rolleyes:

Ah, sorry mate, I was talking tipper, (my landy tipper will only take about 1.25 ton legally).:001_smile:

A load on my 10x6 tractor trailer filled with 3m oak logs stacked over 1m high weights 2.5 ton. About two loads looks similar or slightly less than you have there. Three loads looks more. Hard to say with a photo but Id say 6-8 ton tops.
