I think if you are doing a job of work its fine to use the saw during " normal working hours " Say 8.00am till 5.00pm on a week day ?

is it a one off ?? or every day with the chainsaw as i suppose as its you neighbour i would get fed up everyday with a chainsaw buzzing away try and come to some agreement give n take n all that i just hope you dont fall out over a noise problem put it to bed so to speak ask him to give you a lift lol when logging up & few quid etc would change his thinking ;lol

Just ask them nicely to be reasonable. I do, and it works. Always.
