Can anyone recommend a cheapish supplier of twinwall for my new woodburning stove for the workshop. I have done a quick search online and there is such a variation on price that it is confusing me.

Thats because there is a huge variation in quality. Some want twice the combustible clearance of others. Some require wire support after 1.5 meters, some can go 3 meters from the last support.

 

We only install Poujoulat, expensive but very very good.

instead of a fireplace and stove shop try some of the large plumbers merchants that supply mainly trade. We got ours from Crossling who I think mainly are based in N England S Scotland. Only been fitted a few months but seems ok price was reasonable my builder got it through his account.

Scheidel Euro ICD stainless twinwall. Only time will tell on the quality but fittings and construction look ok.

I just put a new Woodburner in a yurt so no building regs etc to worry about.

I went and got a single 6m length of 2mm thick 154dia T304 stainless.

Super strong, will never wear/rust, easy to weld and being one piece it needs no structural support of any sort.

Had Scheidel twinwall on our 21kw wood burner for last three years, no problems so far, think they overplay the insulation value of it though, the outside of it does get very hot, even in the loft of a two story house.
