Not being funny, would just like to know how people use it (or not)

 

 

 

The directory is just that Jon, an a-z list of fungi.

Meant as a place to go to when you have a hunch on an Id.

Not really a searchable data base other than its split in to parasitic, saprophytic & mycorrhizal species.

 

The Arbtalk Fungi App however is a searchable database where the list of fungi can be searched for via tree host, colour of fungi etc...

Thanks for the reply David but when it comes to dealing with moi I'm afraid you need a wall to bang your head against: my phone ain't smart either!

 

But you make the best fung directory of all.:laugh1:

Thanks David for the contact details of Martyn Ainsworth. He put me on to a Mr Boniface who records finds in Essex, and I have been asked to write an article on the find/fungi for inclusion in the Essex Field Club Newsletter. So if anyone has any useful info on this species (like preferred substrate, associated species etc) I'd be very grateful. Either add here or PM me, thank you :thumbup:
