All the mods have full time jobs as well you realize, and in my case ive been laid up all week following an op. Its not always possible to keep on top of everything. The recent ppe thread should have been nipped in the bud earlier on in an ideal world. In an even more ideal world there shouldnt be any need to moderate anything if people could respect the rules(and other people) and not treat their arbtalk membership as a god given right

I do realize that Steve I think this it a great site and well run. Personally im not easily offended but people do seen to use the Q word a lot which some people can find very offensive.

Hope you make a quick full recovery.

Nothing wrong with banter, a bit of Mickey Taking....Everybody has there different views on all sorts of issues and subjects and that is fine. Its HOW and WHAT things are said are the issues here.

Maybe we should all follow a policy.....if something cannot be said constructively or positively then DONT SAY IT!! Lose all the negativity!:001_smile:

Negativity, there's that word again, it's almost a swearword these days, what's wrong with a bit of it? A lot of what people call negativity is in fact realism, pragmatism and plain candour. We can't all just spend our time saying "you're great! Let's all be positive!" We'd all go mad in weeks.
