reading a trees movement in crown breakdown

unfortunatly space was limited and we didnt have a winch onsite but however, ive done crown breakdown before and it was more have a go myself and see what happens n learn by my mistake, i spoke to the lad i was working with and he said when the cut closed up i should have came to the butt end and tried to drop it a bit further but none the less i had done fairly well for my little experience.

thankfully i learn fast so i wont be doing that in a hurry again lol.

 

im doing my training at the barony college LSD im on the ND arb course at the mo

that looks like a good 1 to learn on :P

 

i visited this bad boy late in the afternoon and taped area off with a view to do following day.

the next day she had come down taking its neighbour down with it.

a bloody mess all hooked up on fence etc

crappy poplar would of been nice if ash or oak ££

i bet you were glad of that, looked horrible. pop is nice to work with and i love the smell, but takes years to dry for burning.:thumbdown:
