Hey guys! I just got to the end of a 5l tub of stihl chain oil and noticed there was a bunch of black sediment. Not small and granular, more like black flakes.

Anyone else come across this sort of thing? Is it gonna run riot with my saws?

gonna strain it out this time, but wondering if I should just go back to oregon?

Any opinions/knowledge would be sweet! Cheers

I Noticed that as well, they also seem to have made recent batches much thinner, I'm getting through the stuff twice as fast.

maybe the oil is thinner as for the under oilier / week flow of oil for the ms171 ms181 ms211 as have used them models and they hardly oil at all on Oregon oil
