Lol no, it is a different tool but yes it looks very similar, it's a lanyard adjuster whereas the Zigzag is/was an ascender/descender.

Lets hope that the muppets at Petzl fully test this new gizmo every which way to destruction in every conceivable and non-conceivable scenario.

 

Rather than leave it to some poor mug spending his hard earned on another gadget, risking serious injury or death to discover that it's not fit for purpose like the ill fated ZigZag.

I reckon it's the original Zig-Zag but rebranded as a lanyard thing cos they've got loads on the shelf they need to shift!

I loved the Zigzag for the brief time that i used it but I wont be getting this. Can't see the point - my ART positioner does the same thing, probably is cheaper, i can use any 13mm rope in it and it has swivel action.

I agree.....it,s just a lanyard adjuster, buy a prussik or a isc rope grab and save your money.
