I am going to sound really dense now but. I need to break down poplar to make into planks for kindling. Accuracy can be really poor just need to get most of the bark off. Would a machine like this be alot quicker than a lt15 woodmiser.

 

For that would a re saw not be best? Something like this Robinson 36 Inch EF/T Band Resaw New and Used Woodworking Machinery, UK - Conway Saw and Supply

I am no miller so could be talking b@ll@x

 

To the OP "Well all I have to do now is get it level, sort out some legs under it, set the 3 phase generator up and get a roof over it !!" So what are you going to do after lunch :biggrin:
