Don't use my saw every day, so although it's expensive, I've gone the Aspen route; but I've some Stihl HP Super as a backup.

I'm not against Aspen and like you I don't use that much fuel so it wouldn't be that expensive over the year. But it is still twice the price of a good 2stroke mix and TBH I have a lot of faith in good fuel (Shell/Esso) and synthetic lubricants.

Hi Marcl,

Have you tried Aspen fuel? If not give it a try you will be amazed by the difference in the lack of exhaust fumes and smell. Everyone should try Aspen and then they will know what everyone is talking about.

Let me know how you get on when you try Aspen.

All the best

Eddie

I've turned to the dark side in the last year and I've even began using aspen very recently. Whatever about lack of fumes and smell etc, I find it handy that I can leave the fuel in the saw until I use it again. Looking forward to less carb problems too:thumbup:

Hi Marcl,

Aspen will keep 3 to 5 years in our cans.

The benefits as many to your health, the running of your kit etc...

You need to smell the exhaust of a 2stroke that has been running on Aspen for 2 or more tanks of fuel and you will know the difference.

It's not just our great 2stroke oil, it's the fuel having only 10 ingredients where as pump fuel has over 100!!

Our fuel is just harmful and pump fuel is TOXIC

I understand not everyone will use Aspen but please try it and give it a fair test.

Please contact me on 07568108953 to know more or put questions to me.
