In the question you asked which was best?? best for what exactly??

Yellow = highways

Orange = railways.

I got some nice orange long sleeve polos and printed company name on them for day to day, then got a few yellow vests to pull on near roads.

like frank says it depends on the situation. Apparently on the railways it's full orange now and full yellow on the roads although leeds ciy council highways lads still seem to be wearing orange and yellow:confused1:

one of the problems down here from a highways job is the rules say yellow for roads, but the wagon drivers running in the quarry have to wear orange, thats why we end up with multi colours on highways jobs down here.

At work we always wear yellow unless we are in the boundaries of railway and then its orange.

i meant at the same time matt:confused1: Hows the landy running?

So did i mate, drive past a CC highways work here and you can spot the wagon drivers instantly! one half of them is orange the other half yellow, trousers or top they seem to compromise rather than comply with either organisations policy!

Landy is fine ta.
