Yellow stands out better I think.

 

That guy on the train track obviously assumes that his vest offers protection against incoming trains maybe he thinks they are like wings of steel (batfink derail anyone )

I'd go for these with maybe a yellowish orange vest.

yellow is brighter but orange dosn't seem to dirty up as bad dirty yellow looks awful.
