She drove fine I went through the steering and brakes.

I think they were well ahead of their built in 1939 full air brakes and she was fitted with high ratio diffs so would do 54 mph flat out but was more than happy doing 45 mph.

I used to drive it just over 200 miles each way to the Dorset steam fair in 7 hrs with stops.

I,am sure there must be a register out there to access the owner etc to locate the truck keep us posted as it would be nice for you to find her etc maybe try looking through youtube or there might be pictures on the net on the steam fairs around the country etc or just maybe join a vintage truck sight then ask on there hope you get there in the end etc good luck
