I have just made a fitting for my telehandler with a timber grab and rotator but the rotator will only turn one way and does not stop very well either!

The rotator is old but its made by valmet and still has the tag on it, anyone had experiences with these or know if repair kits are available?

Seals could be shot, you can have them rebuilt. Either try an agricultural engineer if you have a good one locally or send it to a valmet dealer.

What he said.

Just a question on the telehandler.

Does it actually have the right amount of pipes and or flow direction on the pipes. As some don't actually have a pumped return.

I would look into the handler first.

mine only has one service, the same as the ram for the quick hitch. this works fine as well as the ram for the grab that is also runs of the same lever
