Pfanner fly zip damaged on 2nd outing :angry:

I have just got my New Pfanner gladiator type a vent's through their second days use (light ground work/firewood) and found the fly zip has come away from the trousers.

 

Really pissed off, and concerned as to the build quality of the rest of the trousers. If something so simple can come free, how good is the rest of the stitching? I have never had any trouser bust stitching in the fly, let alone £205 ppe!

 

Really fed up as they will take a week to get back to Gustharts, and a week for them to send me some replacements

You could just get another pair sent out WHILST your other is being returned and trust Gustharts to do the right thing by you and refund.

Did you get in contact with the client I forwarded to you?

Got 2 pairs in rotation for the last 6 months and no such problems . In fact they are wearing better than any other strides I have ever had . Hope you have a one off there and get them replaced soon .

The zip on my stretch airs did the same thing. Disappointing at that price point.

Just a pain as everything takes an age to get here and local delivery drivers are less than helpful, not to mention i will have to pay to send them back,

 

The client turned out to be a good one, 4 days conni bashing plus a load of dead wooding/ formative punning. thanks!

My Old 2008 Strech Airs had the zip go after about 3 months. Took them to the local dry cleaners and they fitted a new heavy duty zip for 8 quid. That's not been a problem since.

 

Got some Gladiators 2 type A at the moment despite the tighter fit never had a problem with them.

Glad you got her sorted out but a hand written letter of thanks plus chocolates would have been nice...

We are under a lot of pressure just getting to local clients at the moment.
