I spoke to a squirrel expert at a country show a while back and i was quizzing her regarding a hybrid squirrel, mate a red with a grey.....? Not such a daft idea to someone who knows very little regarding them. She went on to inform me that reds and greys are so different it would be like mating a cat and a dog??? Unbelievable, back to the drawing board for me then :blushing:

There are still reds up in Northumberland but getting less and less

yes its something that needs sorting right now,the cost of damage must be in the £m annually im sure.common faults on OHL are caused by vermin damage for a start.

If we were allowed to carry sawnoff shotguns on our harnesses we would stand a better chance of terminating the issue...

yes it will happen because the money damage is now to high to sustain.:001_smile:

Have to disagree, they might try to make it happen, but they wont get them all and it will start all over again. They may target woodlands and the like but some will survive in gardens etc and repopulate!
