Not remote controlled but after doing some googling and utubing it can be adapted to remote controlled, so I'm thinking that's why you have to do the 4 wheel drive etc, it's a matter of shifting a gear inside.

 

I won't pretend I'm gutted it doesn't just go forward and back!

 

I'm hoping ive made a boo boo, if i have its going to be a Tricky gearbox out job!

It's not remote control, you have to push it about, there is a steering wheel extension that goes on the cab roof. The crane is the only automated part with the rams operating by pneumatic and the turn table operating by fixed gear.

 

It is possible to spend more and buy the generic automation kit that will allow the use of a remote control which if fiddles with can do forwards, backward and steering.

 

If it doesn't push along the floor you have the centre diff in the wrong way around.
