stihl br 430 blower

Not used a 430 but the 600 is a beast! If you can stretch the extra cash you wont regret it.... Well not until you have to start replanting lawns as the power the 600 has nearly rips grass out by the roots!

have used the 600, but im not keen on the 4 mix set up,prefer the whine of a 2 stroke,lol,toss up between br 430 and husky 570, £££,s may swing it towards the stihl !

Depends how much ground you have to clear. I have both 2009 Br 600 and a 2012 Br 430...

 

If you have acres to clear it has to be the 600 for the simple reason of grunt. I shift literally tons of leaves from a 28 acre site every year with the 600..

 

The new Br 430 is lighter but would take weeks longer to do the same job. But will do a good job of smaller areas.

 

I wouldn't waste your money on anything else than a 600.

 

I am selling my 430 and buying another 600 and a blower unit for my kombi as I blow driveways etc in the summer season after strimming verges.

I wouldn't bother. They're un-ergonomic and gutless. I'd sooner spend the money on a BG-86 as small second blower for little jobs.

i have a new br350 and seems fine, not used a br600 so thankfully dont know what iam missing!

the back pack ones are a pain in a small van though, would like a hand held for blowing after mowing.

i always carry a handheld in the van,great for the smaller jobs and after strimming etc

We Have a br600 Magnum. You definitely won't regret buying one although sometimes I wish it was smaller as when all the kit is in the van it takes a fair chunk of space!

have the br86 and its worked needs a bit of tlc when i can let it ave a rest.

but like a back pack husky just so much power to blow loads around sthil struggles if there is a lot to shift quicker to use a grab for leaves after i pt them in rows.
