its throwing a spark, has enough fuel, & turns over, anything else i should check ?. The spark plug was loose, not sure if its vibrated loose or not, but can't get in to tighten it up again.

It started & ran fine last week, i've now got a load of laurel lying in a customers garden....

No I don't think you can rob, but most motorbike garages will have one. You may need to remove the head / cylinder and just take that bit in, it's literally a two minute job to fit a helicoil then

Maybe best as you are starting out to get to know your local garden machinery mechanic. good to put a bit of work their way you never know when you may need then in a hurry.

How the treebust going apart from this problem?

Hi TB, i've just dropped it off with a local mechanic, who is going to go through the "process" as to why, before looking at the head, he certainly just by looking that the fuel filter was dirty, so we'll see.

Only had it for a short while, & used it properly once, for 2 hours & it worked fine. Its a bit batterd, but suits me being able to get it in the back of my van, & its a (hopefully)good starter for me.....
