You can insure anything ya want. What it costs is another thing.

Where are you storing the wood?.........not the post code!.....is it stored in a secure yard/shed/barn.

My insurance co said they would insure my firewood if I wanted, however they would have wanted it hidden away from prying eyes and virtually unstealable first, if you went to that much trouble you probably wouldn't need insurance.

The NFU do.

I have firewood as a seperate item detailed on the farm insurance for theft and fire damage/loss.

The firewood equipment is also insured by the NFU but all under individual policies for fire and theft and fully comp for those with engine driven wheels.

someone on arbtalk..who shall remain nameless...was getting logwood stolen on a regular basis. He drilled out a bit of wood...filled it with gunpowder from a firework and plugged it back up again. The theft stopped. Carlsberg don't do firewood insurance...but if they did.....

I can just pitcher the moment the thief chucked it on the fire lol I wonder if he still haves a house :)

Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.
