Looking for a place to have a nice break for a week. Thinking either Wales or Scotland. Does anyone know of a good place to hire that's not too isolated? The thought of chilling out in a log cabin is appealing now. Needs to sleep at least 3.

Cheers

Not where your looking, but worth considering IMO. Google log cabins, badwell ash. Some one will hopefully post a link.

It's out of the way,enough, yet close enough to some really nice towns and villages.

Stayed at one in loch Tay was close enough to walk to the village and think they had a bar/restaurant on site to. Also had a wood burner to take the chill of and relax in front of

I know you said Wales or Scotland, but Lusty Beg Island in County Fermanagh N. Ireland is a lovely spot. Bar, restaurant spa etc. Dont think it is too pricey either. Check out their website.

I have a discount code for them:wink::wink:
