aahh, the wanabee mog. this is what i do not get. you want 4x4, you want diffs, you want a bit of grunt, and a winch. you have it. so why, when a machine is made that does all that(mog) and is renouned for being one of the best 4x4 multi purpose vehicles in the world, people say they are crap:confused1:i can understand if you think they are over priced and maybe high maintenance. but crap. i wouldnt get out my yard in yours mate, i like all the galvy, nice bit of fabrication. i even like the truck, i dont have one, dont want one. i have covered all the reasons i have a mog, i am selling mine, but only to replace it with another. :001_smile:

you mean the machine that looks like itd do wheelies if fully loaded with chip :001_tongue:

I have to agree.

Nice truck, I wouldn't mind one myself, but that one wants the tool box binning and building into the body, then the whole chipbox shifting up behind the cab and the chassis behind the axle shortening

Ditto.

Chipbox AND the toolbox are to big.

Stevie, Unimogs have some great points, but their main downfall is their rarity, meaning old clapped out ones command high money, and decent ones are silly silly prices. They are also too complex, so breakdowns are common and expensive, and to small to operate as a serious truck.

I might buy one again for utility work, but for its compactness in working on tight lanes.
