Value of woodland?

I was just wandering what the value of woodland is in the southeast per acre?

What the woodland is worth and what they seller wants are two totally different things.

 

Especially in the SE there is a big mark up. I've looked a woodlands around where i live from 6k-10k an acre If that gives you a guide price, even at 6k i thought that was a bit much even at the 6k end.

 

Watch out for things like sporting rights being excluded and held onto by the original owner.

But if the seller gets what he wants on the open market then they are the same thing.
