Evening Ladies and Germs,

Can anybody out there recommend a really useful, handy and practical guide book that encompasses a broad range of problems, pests and diseases, that we might experience with trees and shrubs common to the UK.

Thanks in advance friends.

Rick

Try jo ryan at treesource- belting on line bookshop for all books tree related. If you can't understand some of the stuff that Klaus Mattheck talks about, he wrote a book called Stupsi explains, it looks like a kids book but explains his theories in laymans terms.

Collins' Pests, Diseases and Disorders of Garden Plants is pretty good. Nowhere near as in depth as Diagnosis of Ill Health... etc. but considerably cheaper. But Diagnosis of Ill Health in Trees is a fantastic book.
