Has anybody bought anything through German eBay and if so is it any different to uk eBay. Also does anybody have German transport links or suggestions on transporting equipment from Germany.

I think its the same ebay just everything is spelt in German . If its a popular item some people from abroad will list on U.K. ebay just to get sales . If you can speak German ask the seller if they ship to U.K. I think I got my Fiskars X27 form German ebay come to think of it ....

Its good for Mog bits, NB Parts for the new stuff like joints, brakes etc and you just have to browse like you would on ebay uk for seccond hand stuff like winches, grabs etc.

Better than having to deal greedy Frank!

I use it fairly regularly, usually excellent service and the postage is often quicker than UK sellers.

I found that about the postage . My axe took " days ! from order !

I've used it to both buy and sell when we lived in Germany. Never had a problem but I was only buying smallish stuff - bikes, a bike trailer, selling some furniture when we moved back etc.
