Hi all. I've been in the game for a while now and was thinking of buying my first top handle saw, and was thinking either of the above.

Has anyone had experience with both that could give me some pointers, or even if anyone could recommend a model for their advantaged.

Cheers!

Thanks for the info! Also, judging by what I've heard about the new MS201, I would be inclined to go for the Husky. Would you agree?

Old stories from when it first came out, have a go on someones thats close to you. Ive not had a problem with ours, also think 540 hasnt been out long enough yet, but check out the other threads about it 👍

I have both:) t540 is a marvellous as a climbing saw fast cutting and looks sexy purrffffect for take downs! 150 is light delightfully accurate for pruning cuts and pretty powerful for something so small!(especially with a 5mm hole in the exhaust!) what kind of work do you do mainly take downs or prunes? I bought the 150 first as I didn't want a 201 and the 540 wasn't out yet! I'd say its ok for use in takedowns I did a fare few with it before I got the husky and it coped fine just know when to pull up a groundsaw! If budget is an issue I'd say get the 150 if not get 540, personally I'd say work late stop drinking for a month save money wherever you can and buy both!
