There is a thread on arbtalk about doing your own blades, a guy on here has a cool little grinder and jig, cost about £500. Use the search function.

Thats about what I paid for this old mower grinder. I just ripped off all the mower gadgets and fitted a plate for bolting down the blades. Its fully automatic just set it up and it auto feeds left , right and in. I can put six sets of timberwolf blades at a time in it and walk away.Worth looking out for one of these if you have the space.
