Isn't that some what hugely overloading a 1500 ?

Someone local has just had a pc2700 put on a twin axle ifor by web hydraulics in suffolk, haven't seen it close up but it looks a very nice setup from a distance.

Nice thing about stiff boom cranes is the weight saving you get with them, but for taking pallets off I needed a knuckleboom but at the cost of payload.

Or the RIKO fast tow trailer with a crane - it has an adjustable load bed so that the nose weight never exceeds legal max.

This is my ifor with a small hiab will lift a ton close in bit nose heavy but don't notice it on the ranger and just load the trailer bit further back. Very useful wish I had done it years ago. ImageUploadedByArbtalk1376942681.333561.jpg.4141c24f3ff8b64c30de587504118323.jpg

You could reduce the nose weight by mounting the power pack behind the rear wheel. I thought about doing this years ago but which ever way you work it on a decent trailer you are left with 1000kg payload. We cut it small and get 2500kg on a TT105 tipper.

nope still in safe lifting range (diagram on controls )

I looked into these when I was considering what to go for but the rating on the palfinger site was as below, hence why I said what I did, to get the lifting capacity I need I would have had to go for the pc3800 which is a pretty pricey piece of kit.

Palfingers are really nicely built cranes though and that looks a nice setup.
