Just about everything I have bought on ebay has a problem or hidden damage. Thats why they sell it on there with a crap picture. They are economical with the truth and you need to ask the right questions then you look like a difficult customer. Even when sold inc vat trying to get an invoice like pulling an elephant through the eye of a needle. Wide berth give it.

Ive had a few good deals on ebay but there is some crap on there. My best deals have been `buy it nows` in the week and some auctions ending in the week.

Worst time to bid is on anything finishing Friday, and Saturday eve.You are up against p!$$ed up people who will bid up without thinking.

Best deal was an 026, hardly used, for 95 quid.Deceased estate, where the beneficiaries just want to turn everything into money having cleared out garages and sheds etc.Thats what you`re looking for if you read carefully between the lines.

Downside is, spending a lot of time on it during the week looking for just posted stuff at a cheap rate.

I buy loads of stuff on ebay and never had any problems. But... You need to be careful.

So if their feedback is low, walk. If they don't answer queries, walk. Use a Snipe service and be disciplined with your bids. If it doesn't feel right, walk.
