What's a tree slug? Is it like a regular slug only with an NPTC?

How does this sub species of slug cause decay?

How do bacteria cause decay in trees?

What effect will torching the wound have on the cambium? Won't you need to stay there on torch duty keeping watch for spores and bacteria ready to strike as and when needed?

Flame sterilisation is a valid process in the right place but if applied to trees it's about as impractical as it gets.

I wonder if Fungi cause decay in trees?

fungi? but fungi grow in fields:001_smile:
