Good job Chris, you did it how you thought was best and safest and that's all that matters mate. I find it funny and have a chuckle when people say "you should of done it like this" or " you should of done that" at the end of the day the jobs done and all is well. Good pics too.

Well yes, quite, but if you are going to have a thread documenting practically every days work to countless other trees surgeons you will get some other opinion on how they might have done it. No harm in that.

(I'd have climbed it and put two more blokes on the deck btw)

I don't see the point of commenting on others work and saying should of done this or that it. It's like when I was doing a job and the neighbour came out and told me how I should be doing the job and why didn't I do it like that etc, I just find it pointless and SOMETIMES it is people trying to be clever.

Nobody actually criticized just said they might have done differently.

Are some threads /posters beyond any comment from others apart from "you're great, brilliantly done" If so I think Dadio should be told.
