Personally I still wouldn't look to buy one.

I think they will have the new model out soon 552/562 to replace them as they've had so many issues.

They've already stopped selling the 550/560 in the states and replaced them with the new model, cant see it to long before it hits our shores as my dealer already has them on special trying to get rid of his stock.

I haven't actually seen or heard of the 556 despite it being in the manual, none of the yanks mention it on arboristsite either

Well one of the two we bought 3 weeks ago will start but won't run - FFS is there any saw out there?????

I've got 550's and 560's no real problems at all apart from the casing for the pull cord bust but was fixed within 24hrs (warranty) this was on the 560. They are both cracking saws.
