Hey guys and gals,

I'm looking to buy a new helmet as the old Oregon i have is not comfortable at all. The trouble is i am on a budget as i have just had to put a new piston and pot on my 357xp which burnt a big hole in my pocket.

So, looking to go up to about 60 - 70 quid and comfort is the key word to the the purchase please.

Thanks a million.

People used to ask me this very same question about motorbike helmets, at the end of the day its your head your protecting.

Ill put another way, which cycle helmet would you buy for your child? Budget or mid-top end? :confused1:

Id go for Petzl Vent, use your muffs until you can afford new ones

Only my opinion mate :thumbup1:

Is it for ground work or climbing? For ground work I would reccomend the Husqvarna Forest Helmet for £35.99

HUSQVARNA FUNCTIONAL CHAINSAW SAFETY HELMET - Helmets - Helmets - PPE & Clothing

For climbing I would reccomend the Petzl Vertex Vent Complete for £79.49, I know its £10 over budget but it comes with the Ultravision visor and free delivery :thumbup1:

petzl vertex vent helmet

The vertex vent is a cracking helmet, you can also add a clear vizir to it aswell as any other visor from MSA/Husqvarna.

Hope this helps.
