I'm lucky I've got the doctors appointment for my back !! Otherwise it's normally a weeks wait for the docs

 

my forefinger and my thumb wont bend now, there's a little prick mark on the knuckle of my forefinger too :bored:

years ago before my septisemia scare, i jabbed my knuckle but didnt realise it was from hawthorn, as there was no skelf. i went to a+e. they gave me a hand brace thing to try and hold my fingers open. i kept climbing and it was agony, it took about a week to go away. if i knew what it was they could of sorted it quicker.:001_smile:

I had a bit broke off in my thumb before swolen right up, a week later bent my thumb and the thorn popped out followed by green oozey crap.

Had a hawthorn prick go through my bottom lip at 4pm by 8pm in A&E having the inside of my lip cut open to extract the thorn. Was told at the time if I had left it to the following day the blood poisoning could have killed me. My advice if it is swelling get to A&E ASAP.

ive had two guys now have that from haw thron and a chap i know had a finger amputeded and came close to dying over the exact sam thing

 

get to that doctors pronto

Got prescribed a 7 day course of anti biotics.

 

Really hard driving the landrover with a thumb like a balloon, couldn't push the button in ontop of the handbrake to release it :001_smile:
