I hardle ever use the lever on my cinch, and it can be used left or right handed.

Cinch with 10mm line is my preferred lanyard, wire core with vt on the few occasions i actually use a wirecore.

Intresting to know, i only ever looked at one and assumed it wouldn't work with my prefered way of having things, i'll have to get one now as i'd prefer a cinch over an art.

I'd like an art positioner one day do they work with steel core lines? As for a cinch nice bit of kit only i like my adjusters on the left as i'm right handed and this means the lever is the wrong way round.

Art positioners work well on wirecores apparently, not tried myself.

I use the cinch on the leftside, no issues as yet

Hitch, cinch or art positioner are preferable for me. They all can be released in a controlled fasion whilst under tension.

prehistoric climber here pete, whats a cinch and art positioner?

i can slacken my rope grab one handed ok, its a thumb and pinky manouvere.

but i am keen to find out about new gadgets:001_smile:

cheers pete, they look good, prussiks can be a pain when on really small stuff, the knot can get caught on small forks or loosen when rubbing on the stem. i relise now why you guys know so much about rope thickness. :001_smile:to fit in all these gadgets. thanks
