i know its been posted before but can not find aNY LINKS i have run out of my ruby red oregen line 3mm tried a few different ones starline say no more breaks so quick not getting any work done tried the 3 sided siver grey stuff not impresed lasted a bit longer but not much. i strim a lot of heavy duty stuff cow parsley nettles,docks brambles and very long grass on fieldpaths mainly need a strimmer as have to trim hedges back as going along so flail mower out any sugestions on a line that will last as long as a fill of fuel in strimmer. using a Honda umk 435 thanks for any info

Diamond edge made by dessert extrusions all sizes . Can be bought on the bay .

Thats the one . You cant better it in my opinion . Use 3.00mm for grass and 4.00mm for bramble , nettles etc . You need a 45cc+ strimmer though . I use a Husqvarna 545RX and 55cc husky . Oregon jet fit head with no guard ....

The bloke who sells that on eBay comes from Haslemere way. Gave me a few samples.

 

Not much in it really between the Stihl stuff and that- I preferred the Stihl for some small reason, can't really remember but I think the DE stuff may have gummed a bit.

 

What really settled it is that the Stihl stuff is two thirds of the price.

i have been using the sawtec 3.0mm and also the dr braided line for there wheel strimmer which has been ok but now i see your link the diamond edge ita big :thumbup::thumbup: thanks perfect

thanks for info think i have found the line the diamond edge with there pivot head will make strimming a lot easier as i do a lot by stock fence and it kills line even thick stuff so will try there pivot head see if it works
