Ditto. Great book, and it's cheap!

 

Gerry Beranek's book is also excellent, but it's not! And Tana Mahuta has buggered off to NZ with my copy...

 

About our lads coming home and Luton, agree with Jason. I think we are all united in our opinion on this one.

G F Berenek the fundamentals of general tree work. It's a good book, very plainly written, maybe not too relevant to the smaller scale U.K. trees but a very good book all teh same.

Natural history of trees, or trees; their natural history. Its by Peter Thomas. Its essential reading very readable, you'll learn a lot

If your after a book that has a good splattering of the theoretical stuff try 'Trees - their use, management, cultivation and biology' by Bob Watson. Its expensive, but well written.
