Ropeknight/throwpod are 2 different things in my opinion and cannot be compared. The ropeknight is a much more technical piece of kit and very good at what it does.

As for set up, if your going to get serious for storage a faltheimer cube or a petzl cube which I have no experience with other than seeing one it has a much larger opening which I like. The line either zing it or petzl airline would be my choice. The weight a throwpod or the fabric weaver or Buckingham bags as a cheaper alternative.

I'd avoid Harrison rockets in my experience they dropped off qaulity wise as I have a four year old one still going the rockets I've bought in the last 2 years have fallen apart they also seem to get stuck more than other bags and cost twice as much. Stein cubes are also a false economy.

We reckon since we launched the Throwpod on the 1st April 2013 we've sold around 350!! They are in Japan, Australia, Sweden, Germany, Hong Kong, The US, Canada, New Zealand and all across the UK!!

How you getting on with yours?

Hey Tony. It doesn't come out often, but when we have whacked it up, we achieved 22m with great accuracy, out of a big shot. Though when we did miss the target and hit the branch it did bounce like a really fast rubber ball.

On another matter....

I don't think I will deal with the rope knight lot if they call their potential customers names of an open forum. It is a "luxury" item they are selling.

Words lost in translation or the failure to communicate in the appropriate local language is by no means "name calling".

Completely unintentional.

Cheers

One mans luxury is anothers necessity. Its a tool with multiple purposes and is deserving of a more thorough analysis.
